Special antique bronze Vishnu statue

• Beautiful quality with solid silver inlaid eyes.
• Solid cast, therefore quite heavy
• Placed on a rotatable pedestal
• Provenance: Maître Guy Loudmer, Paris, 26 June 1995, lot 61. A private collection in France, acquired from the above. This sculpture is accompanied by a copy of a certificate of authenticity, written and signed by Guy Loudmer, no. 1319, dated July 24, 1995, confirming the above provenance, attached to an old photograph of the statue. Guy Loudmer (who died in 2019) was a prominent French auctioneer, nicknamed the 'Patton' of the French Compagnie des Commissaires-Priseurs.
